Oracle Oracle ERP Functional Lead in METRO MANILA, Philippines

Job Description

As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.

In this senior role, the successful candidate will spearhead the implementation and optimization of Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Cloud solutions. The position requires extensive expertise in Oracle ERP Cloud modules and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the end-to-end implementation of Oracle SaaS ERP solutions, including solution design, configuration, customization, and integration with existing systems.

  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for all Oracle ERP-related initiatives, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership to stakeholders.

  3. Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand requirements, develop solution strategies, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  4. Provide mentorship and guidance to project teams, including functional consultants, technical specialists, and business analysts, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

  5. Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer activities to empower end users with Oracle ERP Cloud functionalities and best practices.

  6. Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, communicate project milestones, risks, and issues, and drive resolutions in a timely manner.

  7. Stay abreast of emerging trends, innovations, and enhancements in the Oracle ERP Cloud ecosystem, evaluating their impact and advocating for adoption where applicable.

  8. Serve as the subject matter expert on Oracle ERP Cloud within the organization, offering guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and strategic insights.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  2. Over 10 years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle ERP Cloud solutions, with expertise in modules such as Financials, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, and Project Portfolio Management.

  3. In-depth understanding of Oracle ERP Cloud architecture, data models, security features, and integration capabilities.

  4. Proven track record of leading large-scale Oracle ERP Cloud implementation projects, including global deployments and complex organizational structures.

  5. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a customer-centric approach to solution delivery.

  7. Oracle ERP Cloud certifications such as Oracle Cloud Financials Certified Implementation Specialist are highly desirable.

  8. Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, foster collaboration, and deliver measurable business outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

As an Advisory Systems Engineer, you are expected to be an expert member of the problem-solving/avoidance team and be highly skilled in solving extremely complex (often previously unknown), critical customer issues. Performing the assigned duties with a high level of autonomy and reporting to management on customer status and technical matters on a regular basis, you will be expected to work with very limited guidance from management. Further, the Advisory Systems Engineer is sought by customers and Oracle employees to provide expert technical advice.
