Canadian Solar U.S. Module ManufacturingCorporation is seeking a MechanicalEngineer for its Mesquite, TX office.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Conduct management of machinery and systems usedin photovoltaic module manufacturing. Plan and conceptualize preventivemaintenance programs for machinery specific to the photovoltaic industry andestablish maintenance procedures. Test and validate new equipment and repairany design errors. Collaborate with multiple engineering teams, vendors, and contractorsto complete the installation of new equipment. Effectively manage projecttimelines, ensuring that all aspects of the project stay within the allocatedbudget and resource constraints. Provide necessary operational training to newstaff. Chinese language skills are required.
REQUIREMENTS
: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and atleast one (1) year of experience in the job offered or ina related occupation.
Experience must include one (1) year with each ofthe following:
- Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software for precise modeling and machining.
- Skill in conducting failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) to identify potential issues and improve the reliability of mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of integrating mechanical components with electronics and control systems, enhancing the automation and efficiency of machinery.
- Having industrial experience in operating and programming industrial robots such as ABB, KUKA, and others.
- Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) writing skills.
- Bilingual Communication with Equipment Suppliers for Quick Issue Resolution during Installation and Debugging.
