Job Description:

As the Product Marketing Manager, Consumer SSD, you will be an expert in our products, pricing, competition, customers, and solutions to drive the business and optimize our Consumer SSD opportunity through our go to market plans in the commercial channel. You will drive the overall strategy for the Consumer SSD business to optimize resource usage and deliver growth in the channel.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Meet the Consumer SSD business goals by continuously assessing and adjusting plans as needed

  • Develop and maintain optimal product and solution assortment including SKU rationalization and new product introductions into the commercial channel

  • Gather and build competitive information to drive the most appropriate products, pricing and services

  • Drive new product launch plans and sustaining programs with marketing, sales, and business operations teams to optimize overall revenue opportunity

  • Develop a new product validation plan and track progress at key customers, key motherboard manufacturers, chipset venders, system builders, and channel partners

  • Coordinate with business ops team to define and maintain optimal product stocking levels

  • Coordinate and drive Product Marketing requirements for related customer web experience applications

  • Knowledge of DIY, PC, console, and future gaming market, platforms, and personas

  • Coordinate cross BU communications with product marketing and management teams

  • Ensure appropriate training of sales and partners for Consumer SSDs are completed as needed

  • Work with sales to manage an opportunity pipeline to effectively forecast segment performance

  • Drive customer outreach activities and relationships to grow the business in geo specific regions and countries

  • Review and contribute to all related commercial marketing collateral

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years combined product marketing and sales in storage or tech-related field across international markets through direct and indirect sales

  • 3+ years managing SSD or storage

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; Master’s degree is a plus
