Material Handler

The right candidate will be a self-starter who is able to catch on quickly and works well in a fast-paced environment. This is a Material Handler position consisting of the use of RF scan guns to audit, inspect and/or verify product.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to...

• Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties

• Uses computer system for tracking logging verifying and reporting.

• Follows shipping practices and procedures and transportation routing schedules and requirements.

• Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment. (Un)packs or (Un)wraps items such as finished products raw stock assemblies parts building materials office suppliers equipment etc.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• standing for 9 hours at one time

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

• working weekends
