NAPA Anesthesia Project Manager in Melville, New York

About This Location

NAPA’s Operations Excellence Department is searching for a talented and enthusiastic Project Manager to join their team. This individual leads all phases of the project lifecycle following standard project management methodologies to successfully achieve business objectives for multiple strategic initiatives. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Project Management.

Position Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with project sponsors and leaders to determine and define project charters

  • Identifies key resources and aligns cross-functional department leaders on project scope and objectives

  • Develops and manages detailed project plans through project management software

  • Leads weekly meetings with the project team to communicate work plans, track actual performance against plans, analyze variances, and identify issues and risks to ensure all requirements are met while maintaining control of the project

  • Identifies and resolves interdependency issues across cross-functional teams

  • Adjusts schedules as required following change management policies

  • Develops and oversees the execution of communication plans with projects leads

  • Provides weekly status updates to project leaders and stakeholders by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing key information

Position Requirements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience with a proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams through the complete project life cycle

  • Experience using project management tools and applying best practice methodologies

  • Ability to develop detailed project plans with project management software such as Wrike or Microsoft Project

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization

  • Strong critical thinking, decision making, and analytical skills

  • Experience developing concise PowerPoint presentations for target audiences

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a rapidly growing company

  • Healthcare experience preferred

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
