The purpose of this role is to be the Energy Markets Principal who will lead the development and execution of growth strategies that will advance our Economics and Policy offering across ANZ. You will have extensive networks that include links to executive government departmental and agency officials, in order to add to the breadth and depth of our Strategic Advisory and Cities and Places Solutions team. #ANZS&T

You will focus on leading the development and delivery of projects with particular emphasis on energy market analysis, business analysis, economic analysis, design and application of regulatory frameworks, business case preparation and scenario planning. In taking ownership of client relationships, you will be required to identify, secure and oversee the delivery of strategic advisory opportunities across Australia and New Zealand.

We are open to this role being based at any location across ANZ and have flexible working policies that support working from home.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • A relevant Tertiary Degree

  • Experience in interpretation and application of energy/regulatory frameworks applicable to power generation and distribution at state and national levels

  • Experience in client management processes and guidelines

  • Ability to build teams, provide coaching and mentoring

  • Able to work with and direct technical disciplines

  • Ability to build manage or direct projects

  • Excellent quantitative modelling skills and research abilities

  • Extensive mathematics, statistics and Microsoft Excel skills

  • Brings a positive business behaviour
