[CONSTRUCTION LABORER *[Definition:[ Entry-level laborer with minimal skill and experience level. Able to perform some basic carpentry tasks. *[Supervision:[ Receives supervision from higher level supervisory staff. *[Duties - may include, but are not limited to, the following: [Any manual labor task as directed by a supervisor or foreman. [Excavating and shaping of earth. P[lacing concrete and assisting cement finishers. [Backfilling operations with earth, gravel, and sand. [Operation of pneumatic equipment such as jackhammers, bush hammers, etc. [Operation of two-cycle and four-cycle equipment such as wacker-packers, concrete saws, chain saws, pumps, generators, etc. [Tool pick-up, transport, and storage. [Assist other workers as required. [Perform general demolition of all types of building construction. [Perform general cleanup at job sites. [Follow oral instructions. P[erform related duties and responsibilities as required. *[Qualifications: [Basic Knowledge of:[ principles, procedures and terminology used in the construction trade; tools and materials used in carpentry; methods and procedures used in building construction; materials and equipment used in carpentry trades; occupational hazards and standard safety practices.
