Supplier Quality Engineering Business Partner will improve process reliability, capability, repeatability and bring resolutions to quality issues at Early Stage of NPI Projects .

You are responsible for

  • Leading CPK, APQP, Process Capability Statistics in relation to Six Sigma which is essentially process optimization, understanding QSIT, serving as a Quality interface to suppliers supporting quality and productivity goals.

  • Leading Supplier Selection with Procurement and Commodity manager teams.

  • Collaborating with Design Assurance team and R&D team to define Critical to Quality (CTQ) and Critical to Safety (CTS).

  • Supporting Design Assurance Engineering team for DFMEA assessment.

  • Representing Philips QMS requirements to Supplier.

  • Supporting Procurement Sourcing Engineering team for DFX.

  • Proactively monitoring and measuring product/process quality and performance trends and troubleshooting of production/release issues.

  • Developing and overseeing equipment qualification and process validation plans and lead continuous improvement projects based on process/product trends, customer complaints, industry standards and government regulations.

  • Assuring quality systems of OEMs, manufacturers and suppliers are maintained and acceptance criteria are in alignment with component/product use and customer expectations.

  • Providing Quality oversight of product/process change requests from suppliers, ensuring appropriate regulatory review and adequate validation to support requested changes.

  • Serving as internal and supplier quality auditor, managing planning, execution, reporting and closure of audits and audit findings.

You are part of

Our dynamic Supplier Quality and Procurement team that supports our suppliers, Purchasing, Supplier Quality Engineering and the NPD project teams.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering. Mechanical, Industrial, or Biomedical field.

  • 2+ years of GMP manufacturing experience is required.

  • Demonstrated skills in technical innovation, technical leadership, mechanical and or electrical engineering.

  • Strong interactive skills in general communication, cross-functional project work, technical leadership & project management.

  • Strong technical problem solving skills

  • Understanding of and adherence to GMP practices and FDA regulations

  • Knowledge and ability to implement FDA or regulatory requirements as necessary

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

  • Knowledge of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.
