What can I expect?

T he Sustainability T eam at Siemens PLC focuses on environmental , educational, social and community initiatives for Great Britain and Ireland . We look after the Environmental, Social and Governance framework within Siemens, which we call our DEGREE Framework and this drives our activity to ensure we are working within regulatory requirements, customer demands and ensuring future talent are aware of Siemens and are empowered to consider us for future employment.

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting our corporate citizenship and sustainability efforts. Your responsibilities include assisting with various projects, account management, and updating our education portal. You'll work with the Marketing and Communications Team to maintain our branding, create sustainability content, and manage social media. You'll also support community and school events, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to sustainability initiatives. Travel opportunities within the UK may arise, and your ideas will be highly valued as we work to make a positive impact.

Other opportunities available include:

  • Assisting with Account Management, working with our charity beneficiaries.

  • Supporting the education portal ( https://www.siemens.com/uk/en/company/education.html ) by updating content, tracking data and identifying trends to drive the communications and social media strategy .

  • Contributing to talent management programs, work experience initiatives, and supporting Future Talent projects and communication plans.

  • Opportunities to travel within the UK for conferences, meetings with external partners, and supporting STEM engagement activities.

  • Your ideas and contributions will be highly valued .

What do I need to apply?

  • An interest in climate change and skills , specifically school s /college education and career development.

  • Passion for equality, diversity, inclusion, and community outreach.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to record and interpret data to identify trend analysis.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of confidently engaging with diverse stakeholders.

  • Creative thinking and the confidence to pro-actively challenge processes, concepts and strategies.

  • Ability to work collaboratively, build strong relationships, and improve business processes.

  • Ability to create o nline content for internal and external socials.

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
