Aerotek Electromechanical Technician in Manchester, Connecticut


You will contribute to the full range of electro-mechanical activities in production area. You will help build and maintain our cutting-edge power cable reliability instrumentation and mobile diagnostic vehicles. As a key member of the production team, you'll have the opportunity to do meaningful work with real responsibility.

The electro-mechanical department is broken up into 3 areas. One area is a lab setting that involves hand soldering and finer type of work. In this area the candidate needs to be detail oriented and must have experience with multimeters and oscilloscopes. Area two is electronic assembly work where they build electronic cabinets following schematics, slightly heavier work because they take electronic shelves and wire them together. Area three is repair work of these cabinets and heavy instrumentation. When they interview with the team they will determine which area they will work best in, but candidate will eventually cross train across all areas.


• At least 3 years of electromechanical experience

• Hands-on electro-mechanical ability

• 1 year of Wiring skills

• 1 year of Soldering skills

• 1 year of Fabrication skills

•1 year of Assembly skills

• 1 year of Mechanical skills

• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings

• Compliance with pre-employment and random drug testing program requirements

• Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction


• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

• Assemble instrumentation per specification

• Assemble/Refurbish diagnostic equipment

• Assist in daily production updates

• Attend training sessions as required

• Complete additional responsibilities as required
