Alegeus seeks a Human Resources Generalist to join our dedicated, passionate team of professionals. The Human Capital Generalist will report to the Director, Human Capital and be responsible for helping our company succeed by supporting the Human Capital functional areas, including Employee Relations, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting and Training.


To provide functional support for the Human Capital department, covering a wide range of support tasks in the areas of new hire onboarding, employee relations, payroll, benefits, and other general office functions. The position will work closely with all members of the Human Capital team, and employees in all locations throughout the company. The position will interface with employees at all levels of the organization as well as vendors and external partners.

The desired candidate should have proven ability to handle multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to rapidly changing priorities as needed.   • All responsibilities for this role will be in service of the Outcomes listed above

  • Partner with Human Capital to assist in all facets of the employee lifecycle process

  • Act as first point-of-contact for employee requests, proactively seeking solutions, in consultation with the Human Capital team to provide policy guidance and interpretation

  • Assist the Human Capital team to ensure a smooth pre-employment process

  • Spearhead the onboarding process, including preparing, coordinating and delivering HR orientation, for all new hires. Ensure that the onboarding process is reflective of the Alegeus culture

  • Manage new employee documentation and paperwork; ensure timely completion per employer and new hire employee requirements

  • Collaborate closely with Human Capital to ensure timely and accurate payroll administration

  • Assist employees with general benefits questions and process benefit inquiries, activities and changes

  • Partner with Office Assistant in planning and coordinating employee activities, events and initiatives; backup to Office Assistant as needed

  • Assisting in the intake and tracking of leave requests

  • Draft standard counseling materials and track disciplinary actions

  • Complete termination process including preparation of paperwork, notification and access termination

  • Act as triage for the HR ticketing system; reviewing and assigning tickets to appropriate team member

  • Assisting with various Human Capital and company-wide audit requests

  • Other assistance to Human Capital Department as needed


  • High School diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Prior work experience in a professional business environment

  • 1-2 years prior Human Resources administration experience preferred
