We are looking for a dynamic leader to join our Global Training and Development team! In this role, you will consult and partner with Nelnet lines of business to align goals and objectives as well as execute and supervise all facets of the departmental training resources. Responsible for supervision, development, facilitation and administration of training material related to Nelnet products and services.
- Assist in the design, development and delivery of training programs for a number of mediums (in-person, web, etc.) - Maintain courses including training plan, learning activities, student and facilitator manuals, etc. in the LMS relevant to the business area i.e. SharePoint or Nelnet Learning Portal - Track participation and evaluate effectiveness of training programs through various assessment and feedback mechanisms. Addresses potential changes or improvements. - Lead, train, retain and develop trainers. Provide feedback to trainers and the leadership team regarding performance. Provide one-on-one coaching to assist in improve quality. - Assist in the coordination, content development, and coaching for a variety of events (i.e. meetings, training sessions, etc.). - Keeping up to date with developments in training by reading relevant news sources, going to meetings and attending relevant courses. Strive to make a difference through continued self-improvement. - Report staffing, production, and budget. Develop, maintain and distribute reports. - Monitor and appraise team and systems as applicable. Analyze long-term impacts and plans accordingly. - Act in place of manager in absence. - Lead and participate in multiple Loan Service projects. - Ensure compliance with Federal regulations and departmental policies. - Provide information to other areas of the company. - Act as a liaison to Nelnet business areas in order to develop, document, implement and communicate/ train policy/procedural changes. - Partner with other Nelnet groups to design, package and distribute materials. - Conduct informal and formal research as required per assignment.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree preferred. EXPERIENCE: - Student loan servicing or financial aid training experience or project management experience preferred. - 5 years general work experience, with 2 years loan servicing experience in a technical or training capacity. 3 years supervisory or leadership experience. Colorado Candidates: Salary range for this role is $54000.00 - $62000
