Spathe Systems Engagement Support Specialist in MacDill Air Force, Florida

Spathe Systems is seeking two Engagement Support Specialist for the Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) mission in support of United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

  • Plan and coordinate assigned JSOU in-resident and/or virtual engagement events and activities up to the Secret level

  • Update weekly department status reports of assigned project

  • Plan and coordinate learning material to in-resident and virtual audiences of JSOU events and activities up to and including Secret

  • Prepare and conduct staff actions for assigned engagement events, activities, and products

  • Create and/or maintain JSOU leadership, staff, and faculty accessible database(s) of SOF education events, speakers, and assigned engagement and activity history

  • Plan, perform, and coordinate DTS administrative actions as either an ODTA or reviewer

  • Assist with JSOU strategic engagement plan (e.g., engagement objective, means, methods, events, and activities) – focusing on Academic Partnerships, Talent, Social Media Plan, Logistics, Services, and Communications

  • Coordinate with SME’s across the USSOCOM enterprise, academic partners, and industry to identify guest speakers for special operations learning content

  • Prepare, create, and edit marketing products for assigned engagement events

  • Assist Strategic Communications program to develop engaging social media content

  • Create agendas invitations, presentations, and social media releases for assigned engagement events

  • Assemble, review, and present assigned engagement events up to and including TS/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) material

  • Establish and maintain associated plans, contacts, checklist, records, products and costs for assigned engagement events and activities a comprehensive turnover files/binder

  • Author, edit, and review agendas and facilitate collaborative meetings in a physical or virtual environment(s) to coordinate applicable processes and procedures for supporting JSOU engagement events

  • Collect, analyze, and assess data to recommend resource requirements to support JSOU activities

  • Develop after action reviews and reports on JSOU’s engagements to aid in decisions to improve efficiency, quality, and effectiveness of the university

  • Participate in applicable university meetings, events, and activities as required

  • Coordinate logistics and support services with internal and external entities in support of JSOU events

  • TOP SECRET clearance required; SCI eligible

  • Master of Arts (MA)/MS Degree in any field*

*All degrees used to qualify a candidate for a PTE position shall be from a regionally accredited U.S. college/university or internationally recognized college/university.

  • 5 years’ DoD experience (military, civilian, or Government contractor)

  • 2 years’ Major Command or higher directorate level action officer (Mil/GS/CTR)

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

  • Experience working remotely and with collaborative tools (e.g., MS Office 365; Teams) Video conferencing platforms (e.g., Adobe Connect, Blue Jeans, Zoom, and/or Teams), and Social Media (e.g. YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and etc.)

  • Ability to operate a government owned vehicle up to small bus or civilian passenger vans (15 pax)

  • Ability to move parcels in excess of 40 lbs

Travel

  • Travel is required to various CONUS and OCONUS locations, including hazardous sites. The Contractor shall travel as initiated by written tasking.
