Los Alamos National Laboratory Maintenance Coordinator 1(RAMP Maintenance Coordinator) in Los Alamos, New Mexico
What You Will Do
As part of the Roof Asset Management Program (RAMP) team this position will provide direct or indirect support to the program as well as the subcontractors completing work execution. Assists project manager in coordinating and administering a project from planning, engineering and procurement through construction and close-out. Provides general direction, guidance, technical and/or operational support to ensure the implementation of the program’s mission. Establishes and maintains relationships with the site customer, program partners and subcontractors throughout the entire project to resolve problems and coordinate service functions. May provide assistance in the review of contract documents and/or design development and review.
What You Need
Minimum Job Requirements:
Basic understanding of customer service, organizational skills and ability to interact and communicate with all levels personnel inside and outside RAMP.
Ability to understand project processes such as planning, procurement and execution.
Technical comprehension and the ability to interpret construction documents and blueprints.
Basic knowledge of and experience in the construction industry.
Ability to understand work hazards, safety practices and policies and procedures at LANL.
Education/Experience: Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of technical and maintenance related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.
Roofing industry knowledge.
Note to Applicants:
Must be comfortable atop roofs of various heights.
Predominately outdoors on rooftops from May – October.

Location: This position will be physically located in Los Alamos.
Position commitment: Regular appointment employees are required to serve a period of continuous service in their current position in order to be eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the Laboratory.
