NOTE: This position will be minimum 4-days a week onsite in the ST-HUBERT shop. Candidates must be able to start at 6:45AM as the first team meeting is at 7:00AM. Location is relatively difficult to access by public transit.

Description:

• The Planner is responsible for coordinating engine line priorities and ensuring schedule needs are being met.

• They are coordinating part deliveries with engine lines. They are working closely with Buyers to ensure PO's are being adequately tracked.

• The Planners are working on the floor and interfacing closely with unionized workers in production, machining and quality.

• This individual is involved in daily analytical tasks including production schedules, daily reports, excel reports and liaising with internal teams.

• They are resolving any issues associated with WIP. Examples of issues with suppliers: Parts are required within 21 days and the buyer must escalate to ensure the part is received within this timeframe. The Planner is responsible for communication with the internal stakeholders if there are delays.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must haves:

o 1-8+ years of experience managing suppliers in a Purchasing/Buying/Planning/Logistics function.

o Bilingual- French and English (Suppliers are in English and the shop floor is more French).

o Someone with intermediate to advanced MS Office, Excel (Pivot tables VLOOKUP- Data Management functions)

• Someone who has a strong sense of urgency and priority management.

  o Someone who has worked within ERP/MRP experience

Assets:

o Someone with a Bachelor’s in commerce, supply chain, industrial engineering

o Understanding of VBA

o Someone with Aerospace experience

o Someone who has worked with SAP
