Citigroup Alternative Investment Sales Analyst in London, United Kingdom

Citi Global Wealth Investments (CGWI) is seeking an Alternative Investment Sales Analyst to join our Alternative Investment Sales team covering the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA). The Alternative Investment Sales Team is responsible for marketing and positioning of CGWI capabilities and products related to Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate and Hedge Funds. The team work closely with our investment counsellors and relationship managers in bringing alternative investment opportunities to Citi’s private clients across EMEA. This is a role that will provide exposure to a wide range of alternative investment strategies and can offer compelling career development potential for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

This role is integral to the Alternative Sales team and will primarily focus on supporting the team in their sales activities across Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate and Hedge Funds:

  • Work closely with our Alternative Investment Sales Specialists and support them with their ongoing responsibilities

  • Actively involved with planning marketing strategies and implementing sales campaigns

  • Collaborate with our internal manager research and product management partners to prepare performance updates and commentaries

  • Liaise with external alternative fund managers to organise roadshows, internal presentations and client events

  • Work with our Investment Lab to identify target client segments for our various alternative investment products and capabilities

  • Work with Investment Counsellors and Relationship Managers across the region to assist with their client servicing

  • Prepare and distribute internal management reports regarding sales, revenues and fund flows on a monthly basis

Qualifications:

  • Experience of relevant banking and/or investment practices

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Outgoing personality as this role demands interaction with multiple internal and external partners

  • Detailed oriented with strong time management and organisational skills

  • Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and within a team

  • Competent user of Microsoft office

  • Genuine interest in financial markets and investments

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
