Title:

Junior Logistics Analyst

KBR is seeking a Junior Logistics Analyst to join our team. As a part of one of the world’s largest independent logistics organizations supporting both US Government and commercial agencies, you will be joining an exceptionally talented and experienced KBR Logistics team providing FMS Logistics services to all NAVAIR aviation programs.

As a winner of the National Logistics Contract, the selected applicant will work within the Security Cooperation Office (SSCO) composed of government, military, contractor, and industry personnel while supporting FMS logistics projects.

Role and Responsibilities:

Provides logistics support to the government (PMA-259) by assisting with the development of pre-case, initial, and sustaining Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) requirements for FMS cases

Assists with analyzing, coordinating, and providing recommendations, and implementing international program logistics requirements for integrated product support (IPS) elements during an international program’s life cycle, including business development, case development, and case implementation.

Supporting FMS (Foreign Military Sales) customers in procuring/maintaining equipment and providing follow-on support plans

Support customer requirements with use of analysis, organization, planning, and day-to-day review of provisioning spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities

Support the Deputy Assistance Program Manager for Logistics (DAPML) by performing research, data collection, and analysis

Analyzes unique and vexing FMS logistic problem areas and recommends solutions.

Tracks the implementation of required corrective actions and milestone accomplishment and evaluates site support readiness on a continuing basis to determine problem areas and recommend solutions.

Addresses issues of complexity and significance beyond generic logistics requirements and provides research, analysis, and recommendations to senior personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

Contract requirements-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college and less than three (3) years of work experience in a field related to FMS, logistics, program management, or a technical or business analysis discipline related to acquisition, life cycle management, analysis, or planning.

Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance

Must be familiar with the 12 IPS elements which are: Product/Program Support Management; Sustaining Engineering; Supply Support; Maintenance Planning & Management; Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T); Technical Data (TD) Management; Support Equipment; Training & Training System Support; Manpower & Personnel; Facilities & Infrastructure; Computer Resources and Design Interface.

Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Must be able to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.

Must be able to travel as required for role.

Must be able to operate effectively at remote work sites without direct supervision.

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and similar computer-based productivity applications.
