Job Title: Valve Mechanic ($20-22/hr)

Job Description

Valve Mechanics will assemble pumps and valves used to regulate water and gas systems for various customers. Each customer will have their own specifications, and mechanics will assemble them accordingly. They will use hand tools and drawings to assemble pumps and valves, and then test them to ensure proper functionality using air. If they are not working properly, mechanics must troubleshoot and correct the issue. They will also safely band the valve to a pallet for shipping and may have to use an overhead crane to do so.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Lewisville, Texas.

Work Environment

Small, climate-controlled valve shop. Employees can wear jeans, shorts, t-shirts, and steel-toed shoes. The shift is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, but currently, the shift starts at 7 AM and works until 6 PM due to high demand, with work every other weekend.
