Position Description

Responsible for working with the Consumer Asset Management Customer Solutions and Loss Prevention teams to develop, validate and maintain step by step process instructions or policies published in Salesforce/Knowledge. This position is responsible for facilitating the review of the process documentation or policies and obtaining approvals from the Operational Leaders and other stakeholders including but not limited to Compliance, Legal, and IT. The position is also responsible for working with the Enterprise Business Update & Control Governance team to publish new and or updated process documentation and policies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with the Consumer Asset Management operational teams to develop, validate and maintain step by step process instructions published in Salesforce/Knowledge, which also includes working with the Enterprise Business Update & Control Governance team on publication of the material

  • Work with the Consumer Asset Management operational teams and other stakeholders (legal, compliance, IT) for developing or updating policies, while also working with the Enterprise Business Update & Control Governance team on publication of the material

  • Act as a primary liaison between operations and Ally legal staff, socialize request with appropriate business partners, submit requests for legal advice, assist in interpreting and applying legal advice

  • Validate operational processes being performed to ensure they agree with documented policies and procedures

  • Under general supervision, design, coordinate and implement process changes to achieve the greatest efficiency and quality possible

  • Bring compliance and regulatory concerns to management's attention with proposed solutions to address

  • Responsible for maintaining a log of all assignments with status, action items pending, established due dates, etc.

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Education, Certifications & Years of Experience

Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

Qualifications

  • A strong understanding of the Collections or Loss Preventions operations processes

  • Experience with corporate or financial communications a plus

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively across business levels (both vertically and horizontally)

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to support multiple assignments and stakeholders, prioritize workload for self, and coordinate with others to meet deadlines.

  • Self-starter who requires a minimum of supervisory oversight

  • Understands completely and complies with the highest level of ethical judgment.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal business partners and experience working with multiple business partners in a collaborative and team-oriented manner

  • Comfortable working in an evolving and dynamic environment

  • Flexible and can work independently and in a team environment

  • Detail-oriented, energetic, motivated, and action-oriented
