USAuto Sales Technician in Lawrenceville, Georgia
Automotive Technicians / Mechanics are critical to our business and overall success. We are a full-service auto repair shop that works on all makes and models and perform oil changes to engine and transmission repairs. USAuto repairs all system repairs (e.g. ABS/traction control, A/C, steering and suspension, brakes, door/window motor repairs, engines, alignments, cooling fans, tie rods, front suspension, rear ends, emissions, swap transmissions, tires, electrical issues etc).
Perform work as outlined on repair order(s) with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Detect root cause diagnosis regarding malfunctions and perform repair.
Collaborate with the Parts department.
Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required. Notify service adviser immediately if additional work outlined is not needed and/or required.
Notify service adviser immediately if repairs cannot be completed within established time frames.
Document all work performed.
Road-test vehicles when required or refer to test technician.
Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins and ongoing monthly training.
Maintain neat, organized and clean work area.
Account for all dealership-owned tools at all times.
Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor
Automotive Technician experience required.
Must possess a valid GA Driver's License.
Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
Possess basic computer skills
