Our location in Lake Forest, IL currently has an opportunity for a Marketing Associate.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Responsible for managing sales training content management, communications, program logistics, and training databases. Key success factors for the position include managing training events at Abbott offices and/or field based locations. Provide high level operational management to ensure successful training events. Manage field communications pertaining to programs, online resources, credentialing, etc. Provide reporting, metrics and required compliance data to support field sales training.

Maintains a master calendar of sales training events and timelines
Oversees all expense management associated with sales training event planning and execution
Partner collaboratively with key internal and external customers and subject-matter experts
Work with Professional Education to coordinate potential guest speakers (SMEs, Physician’s, Patients, etc) who may be utilized for fulfilling training objectives.
Manage the production and distribution of training material that is to be used in the training event.
Leads the logistical management of the in-person sales training agenda. Works with cross-functional team members from Training, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Economics, etc. to produce and distribute approved materials, schedule speakers/trainers, and follow-up on identified items.
Manage the scheduling, logistical management and communication of in-person sales training events including hotel, transportation, meeting space, meals, pre-work, etc.
Manage necessary demo product to be utilized in sales training events
Provides operational support of all sales training programs
Manages the training records system and appropriate documentation of training completion
Coordinates the training necessary for rep vendor credentialing, maintains those records and generates the information for the sales field and customers.
Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments
Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Required
Bachelors Degree
Excellent verbal, written and presentation/communication skills
Strong work ethic, self-motivation and resourcefulness
Minimum 3 years sales training, meeting & coordination planning preferred
Minimum 3 years managing multiple projects
