About the Role

The Kuala Lumpur office is the technology powerhouse of MoneyLion. We pride ourselves on innovative initiatives and thrive in a fast paced and challenging environment. Join us in the SRE team where you become the thought leader to tackle cutting edge infrastructure challenges evolve around Kubernetes, Terraform, Java Springboot and NodeJS. Apart from SRE responsibilities, you will be driving the FinOps evolution to optimize cost. If you enjoy designing infrastructure technologies and numbers, this will be a very fulfilling role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • To strategically plan and to deliver continuous improvement on infrastructure to support MoneyLion's growth

  • To evaluate various modern infrastructure topologies, to propose and to implement such a setup

  • To define and to implement SRE roadmap on a mid-to-long term basis

  • To define, design, and drive execution of disaster recovery and business continuity posture

  • To manage, hire and grow the SRE team to deliver solutions and services to internal customers

  • To inform, operate and optimize Cloud Financial Management, by fostering a culture where pods take ownership of respective cloud usage through best practices

  • To engage with stakeholders across the organization (Product, Engineering, AI, CyberSec, InfoSec, Finance, People Ops and Talent) and to collaborate for effective roll out of infrastructure and the relevant services implementation.

About You

  • 8+ years of software development experience, delivering complex systems (with modern practices in SRE domain) in a high-growth startup environment

  • 5+ years of engineering management experience, leading teams of 7+ engineers, including as a hiring manager

  • Ability to clearly communicate high level strategy and technical details effectively across disciplines, locations, and departments, including to senior leadership

  • Ability to manage, lead and grow a team of highly talented engineers with diversified backgrounds

  • Experienced team manager with a servant leader mindset, great interpersonal skills, and strong ability to execute
