Job Description:

The Publication Manager liaises with the internal data providers, healthcare professional and/or scientific communities to drive market introduction and expansion of the organization's products by scientific publications, e.g. in Journals, Congresses, Meetings. The aim is to reflect the available clinical information, support regulatory requirements and ensure correct recommendation for use and other related topics in such outlets. He/she partners with external scientific/clinical organizations/individuals to support product application, industry position, and market penetration.

Job Requirements:

Critical Knowledge and Qualifications:

· PhD in biological and/or biomedical sciences or equivalent

· Knowledge of scientific writing and editing conventions

· Native English speaker or equivalent (written and spoken)

Critical Skills/technical know-how:

· Superior written and oral communications skills

· Excellent data interpretation and presentation skills

· Scientific research, writing and editing skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

· Able to liaise effectively with researchers/advisors (KOLs), internal project teams and management

· Good understanding of statistics and knowledge of clinical and scientific data

· Willingness and ability to work in a team and to take over responsibilities

Critical Experience:

· At least 3 years’ experience in a Medical Industry or Scientific Writer / Communications role in a

biotech/pharmaceutical/CRO company

· Demonstrated experience in preparing manuscripts for publication, abstracts, and scientific posters

· Track record with writing manuscripts accepted for publication in high ranking journals

· Experience managing reviews and publication deadlines

· Experience with editing and delivering critical feedback
