•This position is for a developer of a C/C++ software application for a Linux based comms ground station management system.
•The software application requires a TCP interface to several external devices (modems and DSP boards), database interfaces for configuration data, inter-process interfaces for alarm and event recording , and utility software supporting the HMI and operator commands.
•Additional tasks involve setting up the development environment (source code control, defect tracking system, etc) as well as supporting the test team.
•Software applications will run in a high availability Linux cluster with failover. Position may require limited travel.
Typically has 5 - 10 years of professional experience.

•S/W engineer with proficiency with structured and object oriented programming languages
•Linux or Unix
•Software Integration & Test
•Experience with integrated development environment (IDE) tools, COTS integration.
Familiarity with Satcom ground software development and GSPS / Inmarsat program domain software development experience including Node.js, Redis, Vue.js
