Job Title: Quality Technician - Graveyard Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician for our graveyard shift. The role involves ensuring the cleanliness and proper sanitation of fillers, conducting sample setup, testing, interpretation, and reporting, and reviewing documents. The technician will support the site's Food Safety Systems, provide GMP guidance, and ensure the production of safe, quality, and legal food. Maintaining positive working relationships with coworkers, managers, customers, and business partners is essential. The technician must clock in correctly using the timeclock system daily and practice all Standard Operating Procedures, Safe Chemical Handling procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities

• Verify the sanitation of fillers.

• Set up, test, interpret, and report samples.

• Review documents for accuracy and compliance.

• Support the site's Food Safety Systems.

• Provide guidance on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

• Ensure the production of safe, quality, and legal food.

• Maintain constructive working relationships with coworkers, managers, customers, and business partners.

• Clock in correctly using the timeclock system daily.

• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, Safe Chemical Handling procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices.

• Wear appropriate safety gear at all times and be aware of surroundings.

• Report all near misses, on-the-job injuries, and safety concerns.

• Maintain current Good Manufacturing Practices and notify the supervisor of potential food safety issues.

• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of 80% floor work, 10% lab-based work, and 10% other duties. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and wearing appropriate safety gear at all times.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, Washington.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00
