Description:

• Independently planning, carrying out, and reporting results on research projects. • Leading and conducting formulation work for new product development and improvement of current products. • Conducting routine physical and chemical tests for assigned projects. • Carrying out maintenance for laboratory equipment. • Providing technical support to the manufacturing sites, customers, and other DeLaval personnel, for new and existing formulations. • Developing and validating new analytical test methods. • Active contributor of ideas for team’s project pipeline. • Preparing oral and written test reports, public presentations and posters, and patents. • Working with regulatory on global product registration. • Maintaining documentation as pertinent for development projects including but not limited to project plans, project budgets, etc.

• Motivated self-starter who can work independently, yet function and participate as part of a team • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail • Strong written and verbal communication skills; specifically technical writing • Some national and international travel required (10 – 20%) • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.
