Job Description

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline and have over 5 years of experience developing software web applications within a scrum environment. They should be proficient in Python development for building REST APIs and managing multiple Python services, with necessary refactoring in API services. The role involves managing and consolidating AWS accounts, utilizing AWS infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and flexibility, and having cloud experience with AWS. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with .NET and C# applications, migration strategies for expiring accounts, and containerization using Docker for application portability and ease of deployment. Expertise in AWS is crucial, and the candidate should be able to guide the design and implementation. UI development skills using Angular, React, or Vue, along with knowledge of MySQL and SQLAlchemy, are also required. We are targeting a pay rate of $50-55/hr

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

 5+ years of experience in developing software web applications within a scrum environment.

 Python development to build out REST API

 Python Services: Multiple apps are running.

 Refactoring: Necessary in API services.

 AWS Accounts: Manage and consolidate accounts.

 Experience with .NET and C# applications

 Cloud Experience using AWS

 AWS Infrastructure: Utilize Amazon Web Services (AWS) for scalability, reliability, and flexibility.

 Migration Strategy: Migrate expiring accounts to standard ones.

 Containerization: Containerize the application using Docker for portability and ease of deployment.

 AWS Expertise: Seek an AWS expert to guide the design and implementation.

 UI Development using Angular, React or Vue
