By joining our team, you will make a differencein the community with youth taking their next steps towardsafety, stability, and success.PURPOSEFriends of Youth's Youth and Family Services division is seeking two Mental Health Clinical Supervisors. The Mental Health Clinical Supervisor provides supervision to the Mental Health clinical staff and interns at Friends of Youth to support the daily clinical and administrative functions. As a collaborative leader, the Supervisor provides mentorship, consultation, training, and evaluation to support clinical staff in providing quality behavioral health services to clients and their families. The Supervisor also assists the Mental Health Program Manager in implementing policies and ensuring program compliance.RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESProvide clinical and administrative supervision toas many as 8clinical staff by advising on therapeutic best practices, supporting clinical staff during crisis interventions, holding weekly check-ins with clinical staff, and ensuring clinical documentation of supervisees meets accreditation standards. Ensure clinical services meets quality standards and the needs of clients, families and the community.Provide clinical sessions to a small caseload of clients.Assist clinical staff in the creation of group curriculums and proposals.Maintain ahigh-achievingteam of clinical staff by providing orientation and onboardingtraining for newemployees, monitoring staff performance, and conducting internal performance evaluations and goal setting.Participate in continual outreach with community partners by developing relationships with referral sources and representing the agency at various community meetings.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSMaster’s Level Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Services, or related field.Active Washington State license in mental health field (LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT).Qualified to supervise licensed therapists according to the Washington Administrative Code (WAC 246-809-334).3-4 years in mental health counseling with children, youth, and/or families.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSSubstance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) license.2-3 years in supervision or management related roles.Experience leading mental health focused groups, trainings, and/or workshops.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS$60,000annual salary.Friends of Youth cares for their full-time employees by offering a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental and vision coverage, 24/7 access to telehealth, 403(b) retirement plan and matching, long-term disability insurance, life insurance, 15 vacation days per year with annual accrual interests, sick leave, 10 paid holidays, and two paid floating personal holidays per year.
