Aston Carter Accountant in Issaquah, Washington

Job description

The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, degree in accounting/ finance or related field and 1-3 years of transactional accounting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create, prepare, and validate ad-hoc reports for various business needs

  • Reconcile aged compliance balances and ensure that they are processed appropriately

  • Troubleshoot database issues to isolate problems and offer suggestions for fixes

  • Identify trends or areas of concern and offer solutions for better controls and efficiencies

  • Process contracts to ensure vendors are billed accurately and timely

  • Assist with tasks in other areas of Vendor Consideration as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

  • High level of customer service and professionalism

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to communicate and enforce the Endcap policies and procedures to buyers, vendors, and warehouse management staff

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills

Recommended:

  • Proficient in Excel, Google, Query and ECM

  • SAP or ERP systems

  • Alteryx

  • Good research and problem solving skills

  • Goal oriented and able to meet deadlines

  • Be able to work and think independently and participate as part of a team

Contract length: Contract-to-hire 4 months and then converted to full-time employee with a 60k base salary.

Hourly rate: 23-25/hr

This position will be hybrid (2-3 days on-site) at the beginning then it will be 100% remote
