Robert Half Technology is looking for a Software Developer in Irvine, CA. Our client - a major leader in the Financial Services industry - is seeking a Full Stack .NET Developer for a remote start opportunity. You will be responsible for implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and refactoring existing code across a breadth of products used both internally and externally at the company,. This long-term temporary-to-full-time employment opportunity.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain REST based services

• Knowledge of Cosmos DB queries

• Develop and maintain web/windows applications

• Design and develop backend systems that integrate to external systems and support existing processes

• Prepare test data and functional specifications

• Build integrations with various external services based on technical documents

• Maintenance of API systems in production.

Requirements

• A minimum of four years professional software development experience of web applications on the Microsoft platform

• Good knowledge of front-end web technologies including: Angular or KnockoutJS or JQuery Development experience using TypeScript and Angular 6+ is a plus

• Expertise developing web applications in C# with ASP.NET MVC and Web API

• Knowledge of enterprise application design and patterns

• Understanding of performance optimization, caching, and web security

• Ability to create web pages that closely match the mockups and wireframes built by UX designers

• Able to use git in a structured team environment where changes are managed by reviewed pull requests

• Understanding of how to build responsive single page applications

• Experience using Azure platform

• Experience writing automated unit tests

• Understanding of Agile methodology
