STANG DECISION SYSTEMS LPN: Occupational Clinic $19.50-$25.35hr in IRON MOUNTAIN, Michigan

JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Dickinson County Healthcare System (DCHS) seeks a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Occupational Clinic team in Iron Mountain, Michigan. This position works under the direction of the Occupational Health Nurse Coordinator to provide exceptional patient care as we strive to become an employer of choice and a premier healthcare provider in the region. RESPONSIBILITIES. Provide direct, individualized nursing and age specific care to an assigned group of clients/patients. Perform screening tests for which you are/will be prepared by education, training and/or experience. Document and record information concisely, accurately and completely on patient record. May perform blood draws by venipunctures and finger stick glucose testing as needed and after proper education and training. Assumes responsibility for continuing professional education and growth. Comply with best practices in nursing as well as established hospital policies and procedures to render care of patients. Maintain effective, appropriate, and professional communication with hospital staff, patients, and care providers at all times. WAGE/BENEFITS. Starting pay of $19.50 - $25.35 per hour based on experience. Position offers medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, paid time off (sick, vacation) and life insurance. SCHEDULE. This is a regular, full-time day position with shifts 7:30am 3:30pm, 8am-4pm, or as assigned. MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS. Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Michigan required; Licensed in the State of Wisconsin preferred or ability to obtain Wisconsin LPN License within 3 months of hire. Certifications or ability to become certified in the following areas: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), audiometric/hearing conservation, first aid instruction, breath alcohol testing, drug screen sample collection, respirator fit testing, and/or PPD skin testing. Previous nursing experience in outpatient services, clinical or office setting preferred; preference given to candidates with industrial/occupational nursing experience. Ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritize tasks. Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor that ensures trust, competence and compassion amongst patients and team members. Valid driver's license required with ability to travel to clinic locations, if needed. Ability to successfully pass a pre-hire drug screening and background check. SOUND LIKE YOU?
