CACI International Field Support Representative (CENTCOM) QATAR in International, Qatar

Job Description

Location: Overseas/QATAR

Mission: Support deployed Intelligence system to maximize availability and build customer confidence and satisfaction

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install, monitor and maintain system hardware/software

  • Monitor system health and status on a daily basis. Includes central site and at least 4 remote sensors (Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, UAE, Iraq)

  • Full time residence in Qatar

  • Travel to 2 sites per month for preventative maintenance; service every site every 6 weeks

  • Troubleshoots technical problems and issues to determine technical solutions; work within customer guidelines/process to implement solutions

  • Provide operations and Maintenance training as required

  • Support customer operations and System Administrator personnel

  • Fault Isolation/Resolution

  • Periodic Software upgrades

  • Keep Program Management informed of system status at all times

  • Manage Central/Regional Spare pool to ensure availability and accountability

  • Travel to sensor sites to perform periodic maintenance, incident troubleshooting and refresher training for operators

  • Support site surveys and new system installations

  • Support customer course of action development for potential additional deployments of the system

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Troubleshooting, HW maintenance and cable repair

  • Linux System Administration

  • CompTIA Security+ certification

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years of Military experience

  • Previous experience as a Field Support Representative

  • Experience maintaining VSAT comms equipment

  • SIGINT background

  • Familiarity with Air Defense Operations, CAOC, link16, targeting

Travel: Overseas travel required: 100%

Clearance: Active TS/SCI required.
