  • The Speedo brand is licensed for North America and the Caribbean in perpetuity from Speedo International Limited.

The Team

  • Lead and coach team of 2 technicians to provide RT (risk assessment, testing, material, textile knowledge) on fabric, trim, and garment from development ensuring product compliance to GQM (PVH Global Quality Manual)

  • This is a newly established position with a new team working in a newly established office

The Position

  • The RT Manager is responsible to ensure the PVH Europe (primarily Turkey, Portugal, Tunisia and Italy) garment and raw material suppliers meet or exceed the minimum requirements outlined in the Global Quality Manual

  • Develop and maintain close collaboration and alignment with PVH EU teams, (e.g. Amsterdam (AMS) Central Quality Assurance Team, AMS Fabric, AMS Product Development) to support business growth, and drive and execute the risk assessment process, and other initiatives relating to risk assessment, product testing.

  • Leading a technical team to ensure successful completion of tasks.

  • Support market growth through executing on additional market testing requirements e.g. China Product Compliance, Saudi Arabia.

  • Manage laboratories : Implement PVH test methods, procedures and accreditation with 3rd party testing labs, and in-house labs; ensure performance, service and costs are in-line with PVH global direction

  • Support with issue management post shipment – executing regional recall and claim process; root cause analysis and corrective action plans

  • Drive, lead or deliver against global and regional quality initiatives.

  • Support and drive for process improvements to enable efficiency and meet changing business needs

The Ideal Candidate

  • Understanding of international quality standards (e.g. ISO, AATCC, GB etc.) as relates to apparel and footwear

  • Proven material knowledge from dry processing to wet processing

  • Fluent in spoken and written English

  • Minimum level of education: Bachelor degree or equivalent in Fashion (Apparel, Footwear and/or Accessories) and/or Textiles

  • A minimum of 10 years related working experience in Fashion (Apparel, Footwear and/or Accessories) and/or Textiles industry
