Regional Marketing Manager - Microbial Control Energy & Water (Job Number: 200218W-01)


Position Overview:

The Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) is responsible for driving growth through leadership of marketing activities over the 0 - 18 months time horizon. The RMM works closely with the Commercial team and the Technical Service & Development team to support our value proposition, deliver market share gain with key customers / application segments, and drive innovation in our total offering, including product technology. The Regional Marketing Manager role owns the individual segment strategies, with a specific focus on Hydraulic Fracturing. Further, this role owns development of the content for selling tools and external presentations. Finally, this role is responsible for successfully driving new product launches.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Regional Marketing Manager:

  • Develop in-depth understanding and knowledge of the market, industry dynamics and competitive positioning to effectively drive growth

  • Identify new market opportunities based on direct interface with the market

  • Develop market plans and lead implementation with Market Segment Teams

  • Set application and product participation strategy, along with customer segmentation

  • Set regional pricing targets

  • Monitor market share at customers and leverage full range of existing technologies and service offering to gain share

  • Propose innovation projects and development opportunities to meet anticipated market needs and opportunities.

  • Collaborate closely with Strategic Marketing and R&D to scope innovation projects

  • Execute commercial launch for new product introductions and program launches

  • Develop selling tools and external presentations effectively communicating value proposition

  • Identify and manage all trade shows, events, seminars and speaking opportunities in the region (close collaboration with Communications team)

  • Conduct Voice of the Customer research


Qualifications/Competencies/Position Requirements:

  • BS in the Sciences or Business

  • Preference for candidates with 3 - 5 years of experience in Commercial roles

  • Strong ability and willingness to lead and influence a cross-functional team

  • Strong capacity to process a broad range of external / internal sources of information and to convert into a concise direction for the organization

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
