Honeywell is currently recruiting for an IT Project Management Principal to join our team in Houston, TX.
In this key role, the successful candidate will:
Lead all Master Data Management activities through the life-cycle of ERP deployments across PMT, with immediate focus on HPS.
Work with Data Governance leaders, Data Analysts, IT teams, Data Stewards, Honeywell’s Data Quality COE and Site users/super-users to prioritize, clean and govern Master data for all sites being deployed on a standard ERP platform.
Own and drive data profiling, cleansing and data quality improvements from legacy systems through go-live and post production stabilization phase.
Educate new sites/teams on the importance of master data for ERP deployments, own and drive site readiness for ERP go-lives from a master data perspective.
Create and monitor master data performance measures.
Facilitate the prioritization of work, scheduling and assignment of work as well as the communication of commitments and status to business/ functional stakeholders.
Communicate the impact to the business of changes in standards, processes and data quality
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, finance or other technical/analytical discipline.
Understanding of various stages involved in an ERP deployment
A fair understanding of the datasets / Master Data in SAP and associated IT landscape in terms of tools / technologies.
Ability to drive strategic improvements in Master Data management and Governance across the organization – specifically in areas like Data Quality measurement / improvement, Metadata management. A critical eye for the quality of data and strong desire to get it right.
Strong execution skills and sense of urgency to translate strategy to action and implement them.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently with relevant HON business leaders & Data Stewards to understand data governance / management opportunities
Understanding of impact of Data on growth, operation excellence and customer experience and constantly looking for opportunities to improve them.
Understanding of EIM (Enterprise Information Management), its alignment in Honeywell, EIM standards, goals and objectives.
Experience with large-scale master data cleansing and governance initiatives
