WSP is currently initiating a search for a Aviation Marketing Manager to support the Aviation National Business line in pursuit and proposal activities.

We are looking for an Aviation Marketing Manager to join our firm. This position will primarily support our Aviation practice, which provides planning, design, construction, and program management services at airports around the world. The position will lead pursuits and produce proposals ranging from airport system plans and airport system on-call contracts to design-build procurements of nationally recognized mega projects.

This successful candidate would be located in any US WSP office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the National Market Leader for the Aviation team for overall direction and resource allocation, the Aviation Marketing Manager fulfills many responsibilities:

  • Support aviation leadership with the development of effective marketing strategies, communications campaigns, and other client facing deliverables

  • Prepare statement of qualifications and responses to requests for proposals for Aviation pursuits

  • Oversee Aviation branded materials to ensure compliance within corporate guidelines and processes

  • Develop winning pursuit strategies for pursuits in collaboration with Aviation Leadership and Program/Project Managers

  • Lead interview preparation and coach interview teams

  • Ensure marketing collateral is updated and accessible, which includes brochures, newsletters, resumes, and project descriptions

  • Develop, implement, and manage Aviation communications plan, within corporate processes and guidelines

  • Track project milestones and success stories for communications and industry engagement

  • Work with regional principals for opportunity pipeline management and produces analytics for resource planning and forecasts

  • Liaise with corporate department(s) for industry conference participation as necessary

  • Coordinate the production of advertisements as necessary

  • Organize subconsultant outreach programs as necessary

  • Ad hoc project and client support projects

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience leading pursuit teams (engineers, project managers, marketing staff) to develop timely proposals

  • Experience producing infographics from provided data in order to compliment proposal approach

  • Experience with coordinating project workshops/charettes

  • 10 years minimum experience in related field

  • Must be energetic, flexible, and able to adapt to client-driven and corporate changes

  • Some travel required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to lead multiple proposals concurrently spanning all US time zones

  • Engineering, Architecture, or Construction background preferred

  • The selected candidate must have the ability to work in the United States immediately.

  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
