Our client is looking to hire a Inventory Financial Analyst responsible for performing centralized Supply Chain Finance activities including the update, reconciliation, reporting and analysis of bakery inventory balances in support of company-wide Manufacturing Operations. This is a 6 month assignment that could be extended. 100% Remote but must be able to support the PST time zone. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of Access, Hyperion and Oracle is preferred.
Must be detail-oriented and capable of analyzing data
3- 5 years accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Financial Reporting and analysis
Solid verbal and written communication skills
Team player able to work independently with minimal supervision
Analytical skills and solid attention to details
salary: $35 - $40 per hour
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Serve as the primary resource for multiple bakery locations in the coordination, collection, and input of inventory-related transactions (physical counts, write-offs, miscellaneous issues, and receipts, transfers, returns, and claims) in the ERP system.
Validates the accuracy of transactions and account balances and interfaces with bakery and IT support to resolve transaction and system discrepancies.
Creates MBRW (material balance) reporting, analyzes the financial impact of inventory consumption practices (actual vs. standard), and supports bakery leadership in the identification of opportunities for improvement.
Works in conjunction with bakery personnel to ensure Bills of Material are accurately maintained in the ERP system including floor vs. Oracle set-ups, standard vs. actual consumption analysis, and weight control measures.
Supports product accountability activities.
Perform ERP system manufacturing inventory module maintenance activities
