Job Description

An opportunity awaits a repair technician at our hopper car repair facility. We are urgently looking for a dedicated individual to join our team who will spend approximately 20% of their time welding mig/flux and 80% fabricating/assembling. The responsibilities include reading blueprints, cutting steel with an Oxy-Torch, Fitting up, tack welding, and more. The position requires welding experience. We are interested in candidates who are looking for a long-term commitment as they will receive official certification for railcar repair.

Hard Skills

  • Structural welding experience

  • Mig/Flux experience

  • Ability to read blueprints

  • Willingness to assemble and fabricate
