The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills, ability to understand project drawings, project wiring diagrams, component wiring diagrams, and computer skills with knowledge of Windows and Excel.
Execute regular field walks to validate POC physical availability. Identify anomalies, propose resolution, and promptly escalate to the appropriate team for closure.
Interface daily with electrical system owners, project discipline engineers, A/E firms, and/or client to resolve issues and update the electrical pre-assignment database.
Attend weekly Electrical Working Group (EWG) meetings.
Understand point to point electrical wiring diagrams
Represent the company in a positive manner to other trades, contractors, and owners
Must always work with a strong emphasis on ensuring your personal as well as the safety of others.
Able to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.
May be required to work in confined or awkward spaces for periods of time. Will be required to complete appropriate safety training.
A self-starter who can set priorities, demonstrate initiative and the ability to get the job done. Must be capable of following instructions and exercising good independent judgment when appropriate.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use stairways to climb to multiple floors within office building, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This position requires frequent computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
