Boeing Supply Chain IT Systems is seeking a Senior IT Business Partner to support the BDS Supply Chain based out of Hazelwood, MO. The Supply Chain Systems Business Partner leads liaison activities between the BDS Supply Chain function, IT Supply Chain Systems and related organizations to understand priorities and develop a strategy to ensure the business is enabled to meet their objectives.

A successful candidate will understand the importance of Supply Chain business execution and will work directly with Supply Chain stakeholders to understand the business strategy, required capabilities, and partner with core Information Technology to identify or define comprehensive solutions that align to capability roadmaps.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and acts as an internal consultant for liaison activities at a strategic/enterprise level between the business or function and IT and related organizations to understand priorities and develop a strategy to ensure the most complex of business objectives are met.

  • As a key member of the leadership team, leads the education of the Business’ senior leadership on IT service offerings.

  • Collaborates directly with business or function to understand problems or initiatives, and represents the business or function within IT at the highest levels to engage the right resources, explores alternatives and help deploy the right solution with first time quality.

  • Directs the development and execution of communication plans, including status to leadership and to business or function stakeholders.

  • Oversees the identification of risks and impacts and coordinates with business or function senior leadership to approve mitigation plans or changes to commitments.

  • Provides input and lessons learned on IT processes, procedures, tools and techniques, and ensures alignment to quality management solutions for the business or function.

  • Has overall accountability for the dollars spent, funding, and affordability in support of their applicable business unit(s) or function(s).

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years of experience working on teams and projects that involve cross-functional and/or cross business domains with executive interface experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain domain

  • 3+ years of experience developing and executing comprehensive IT roadmaps

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Direct experience in Aerospace & Defense business functions such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, etc.

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Infor, etc.)

  • Project and Product Management knowledge/experience

  • Scaled Agile Framework knowledge/experience a plus

  • Strong systems thinking experience across broad process and architectural landscapes

  • Organization skills to effectively work in cross-functional, multi-level environment with shifting priorities and requirements

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.)

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $135,150.00–$182,850.00
