Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Bilingual Community Impact Manager (Administrative Officer 3) in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

If you answered yes, the PA Department of State has a Bi-Lingual Community Impact Manager vacancy in the Bureau of Campaign Finance and Civic Engagement! The Community Impact Manager will lead civic engagement program planning and collaboration efforts with key election stakeholders and clients to develop and monitor the Department's initiatives. This position will also serve as the Language Access Coordinator for the Department; coordinate voter outreach and education efforts; and oversee the development and implementation of poll worker training, recruitment, and retention programs. The successful candidate in this role will be able to speak, read, and write fluently in Spanish and English, and a third language is preferred. If you want to join a fast-paced, innovative team that is critical to successfully serve Pennsylvanians, this is the place for you. *REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING and ELIGIBILITY: Four years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management of staff work in public or private organization, including experience in personnel management budgeting or procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. *Special Requirement: Bilingual: Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in English and Spanish. *Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with multilingual communities and coordinating language interpretation and translation services OR experience providing interpretation and/or translation services. Experience performing civic engagement work and/or involvement in voter education. Experience organizing and leading initiatives/projects. A third language speaking proficiency is preferred, particularly Mandarin Chinese and/or Vietnamese. *This is a home-headquartered position.
