TRAINING COORDINATOR

SCOPE

Prepare, facilitate, monitor, evaluate and document (GMP) training activities in the company.

GMP/CORE JOB RESPONSIBILTIES

  • System administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS) ComplianceWire:

  • inform employees about training options

  • coordinate training plans for departments, functions, roles and individual employees (training curricula)

  • provide feedback to users and management

  • maintain employee training records

  • process employee onboarding, cross-boarding and outboarding

  • maintain and update training curricula

  • ensure periodic review of training curricula

  • train new LMS system users

  • track and report training status and metrics

  • process qualification documentation

  • in coordination with department managers, assess training needs for new and existing employees

  • identify internal and external training programs to address competency gaps

  • organize, develop or source training programs to meet specific training needs

  • provide guidance on learning delivery methods including classroom instruction, virtual training, on-the-job coaching

  • design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness

  • evaluate and make recommendations on training material and methodology

  • handle logistics for training activities including venues and equipment

  • establish and maintain relationships with external training suppliers

  • manage site training plans

  • keep current on training design and methodology

  • manage pool of trainers/instructors

  • identify additional trainer/instructor needs

  • coaching of trainers/instructors

  • provide guidelines for trainers/instructors

  • support internal/external audits

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Education at higher vocational level (preferable in the subject of education/training/training planning)

Work experience

At least 3 years of relevant work experience with instruction or training (planning)

Specific knowledge

  • Knowledge of relevant GMP such as 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971

  • Knowledge of MS Office

  • Knowledge of adult instructional and learning theory and principles

  • Knowledge of instructional design

  • Knowledge of training methodologies

  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS)

  • Knowledge of competency assessments
