TEKsystems Helpdesk Support Specialist in Greenwich, Connecticut

The client is a large presence in the financial industry as a leading Hedge Fund organization with offices in Greenwich, CT and Charlotte, NC. They are looking for a help desk analyst who will be the first point of contact for all internal issues in the Greenwich, CT office. They will be responsible for working cases through to resolution or escalating to senior level staff as needed.

This position will report to the Director of Infrastructure. There will be infrequent travel between our Greenwich, CT and Charlotte, NC offices. This position will have upward growth into a junior and possibly senior level infrastructure or network role, with mentorship and personal development encouraged and provided.

Requirements:

Necessary Technical Skills:

Understanding of help desk operations

Junior level troubleshooting ability with applications and platforms such as Windows, Linux, and Office

Excellent customer service skills

Necessary Personality Traits:

Optimistic and Upbeat personality

Enthusiasm and passion for learning

Excellent written skills

Adaptability

Desired Technical Skills:

Office 365/Outlook/Microsoft Office

Active Directory

Basic Networking

Virtualization

Hardware Break/Fix Experience

Familiarity with ITIL Process
