Lockheed Martin F-16 Production Inspection Supervisor in Greenville, South Carolina

Description: F-16 Production Inspection Supervisor- Greenville SC

Job Description: Supervise quality inspection employees on the F-16 Production line by managing job assignments, training, and time off while assuring that Quality, Cost and Schedule goals are achieved. Implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System.

Plans daily activities and schedules work for inspectors. Observe, evaluate and train employees.

Assist employees with computer system and documentation.

Perform area audits and interact with the Production and DCMA customers.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 8 years experience in manufacturing or sustainment aircraft experience.

Experience in reading and interpreting Engineering drawings and specifications

Experience in developing and interpreting quality data and metrics.

Experience using Continuous Improvement methods.

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Desired Skills:

The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the others:

Licensed FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic

Experience working with Government customers.

Effective Communication Skills: Written, Oral, Listening, Technical Writing.

Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration.

Strong knowledge of Industry recognized Quality systems such as International (ISO), aerospace (AS), and FAA regulations.

Experience using manufacturing processes, specifications, inspection criteria, and quality engineering practices.

Experience with F-16 Sustainment or Manufacturing

Previous aircraft sustainment or aircraft manufacturing experience.
