The JBS International Logistics team is seeking a detail-oriented, problem solver to join our team as a Logistics Supervisor. This role will be based at our Corporate Office in Greeley, CO.
Lead a team of 4 and be responsible for their career development
Monitor staff performance and conduct performance reviews
Maximize the potential of staff with strategic planning and strong leadership
Liaise between plant shipping, JBS corporate, quality assurance and the outside freezers for the purpose of process improvement and problem resolution.
Set up, implement and ramp up new freezer locations as needed.
Train new freezers and old, when needed, on JBS process and documentation requirements.
Educate and advise beef and pork representatives on where to send product out for outside cold storage.
Ensure timely movement of product via Air, Ocean, Rail and Truck to our International Markets.
Explore, analyze and optimize all available routing strategies to expand options for JBS to move our product
Work with JBS shipping managers, ocean carriers, freight forwarders and trucking companies to ensure JBS has the necessary service and equipment to move product as needed.
Work with International Logistics managers to ensure that JBS has adequate transload options Ensure transload partners are aware of and are abiding by any JBS handling, documentation, and verification policies
Accounts Payable Responsibilities:
Oversee the processing of ocean, rail, transload, and freight forwarding invoices.
Ensure timely payments of invoices for vendor partners.
Assist with dispute resolution.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
3 to 5 years of Supply Chain experience.
Rail and Warehouse experience with temperature controlled products preferred.
Excellent collaboration and influence with management and cross-functional teams.
Ability to think on an enterprise level and be forward-looking.
Demonstrated success in change management and organization transformation within a performance oriented organization.
Excellent strategic and analytical skills, strong communication and presentation skills.
Able to travel approximately 25%.
The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:
Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

Base salary range of $45,255-$58,800 annually; and
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
