Collections Representative

Remote: 100% Remote. This is a PERMANENT position. Must live in Michigan.

Industry : Mortgage

Compensation: $20.00-$21.00 per hour to start with advancement opportunity.

Schedule: 8:30am to 5:00pm,

Monday through Friday. (there will be one day a week the candidate will work

until 630 pm- this is on rotation with the other staff. On this day, start time

is 10am)

Position Overview: This is a collection position for a mortgage company.

You'll be calling people (borrowers) that are behind on their mortgages and

setting up plans to get them on track. This position typically must have the

ability to make around 100 outbound calls a day, plus take some inbound calls.

Experience Level:

Entry Level

In this role, candidates will be working with borrowers that are delinquent on their loans.

40% of the time, candidates will be monitoring where the status of the loan is and track activity of the borrower. This activity could be around if they have made some sort of payments, if they have called to set up a payment plan, if there is a payment plan set up and what level the the current account is at- 15, 30, 60 or 90 days late.

20% of the time, candidates will be making collection calls to the borrowers.
