Description: This HR Business Partner role will be an integral part of the HR team that supports the Missiles and Fire Control Engineering & Technology Organization.
The successful candidate will work closely with the E&T Human Resources team to research, develop, and implement human resources programs, policies, and practices across multiple subject areas including talent management, salary planning, performance management, promotion planning, and rewards & recognition. This role will also support multiple special projects within the Engineering & Technology Organization.
In order to be effective in this role, the HRBP must consistently demonstrate the interpersonal skills necessary to interact with employees and all levels of leadership. It is expected that the HRBP will engage with employees to confidentially address concerns and provide support to leadership, addressing employee relations and organizational issues promptly. The HRBP will coordinate with resources from HR Centers of Expertise and other organizations to proactively work through complex problems and formulate/propose actionable solutions to deliver integrated people solutions. Additionally, the HRBP must be able set high standards of performance for themselves and others, be professional in both word and actions in any situation, have an analytical mindset, and demonstrate self-awareness and learning agility.
-Bachelors degree from accredited college in a related discipline
-Experience in a HR COE
-Exceptional oral and written communication skills
-Experience with Microsoft Applications with strong capability in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
-Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
-Ability to prioritize and produce superior results under deadline pressure
-Ability to build effective relationships and balance interests of multiple stakeholders
-Ability to analyze data effectively and seek conclusions
-Experience in project management
-Desire to become a client facing HRBP
-Ability to use metrics/analytics to drive performance. Champion employee engagement, retention and diversity and inclusion. Be an employee advocate.
