Job Title: 1st Shift Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Technician with a focus on Multi-Craft Maintenance. You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of equipment including resistance welders, conveyor lines, paint lines, powder coat lines, and shears. Mechanical tasks include troubleshooting gears, bearings, sprockets, and motors. Electrical tasks involve troubleshooting up to 480V 3Phase, running conduit, and replacing and programming VFDs. You will also work on pneumatics and hydraulics, dealing with pumps, valves, and solenoids.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Garrett, Indiana.

Work Environment

You will work in a metal grating manufacturing facility involved in construction projects, oil companies, and various other industries. The facility has been operational for 12 years and maintains a laid-back yet deadline-driven atmosphere. Quality and safety are paramount, and the environment is highly automated with advanced fabrication capabilities. The position requires adherence to a dress code of steel-toed boots, tools, jeans, and work shirts. The shift is from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with potential work every other Saturday and occasional early starts at 5:00 AM.
