This position is responsible for assisting in the delivery of primary health care, emergency health care, patient care management, assisting the healthcare team in coordinating, prioritizing and communicating patient, physician and staff needs. This role includes preparing patients and performing EKG tests, as well as providing wound care, documenting vital signs and collects lab samples. This position also includes cleaning, inspecting, and setting up emergency rooms, carts, and equipment.
What You Bring/Job Requirements:
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
One year of CNA or EMT experience required
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Basic computer skills
High School diploma or GED required
Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program or EMT Program
State registered CNA license required
BLS from the American Heart Association required
EKG Certification preferred
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
