Job Title: Health and Safety OfficerJob Description

The Health and Safety Officer is responsible for protecting the health and safety of people and the environment from hazards in the workplace and environment. The role involves not only enforcing standards but also teaching and explaining the importance of OSHA standards to the field team. The officer will oversee project site safety, ensuring the use of PPE and adherence to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Enforce compliance with OSHA safety regulations and safety procedures.

• Communicate effectively with the field team to explain the importance of following safety standards and regulations.

• Monitor and ensure project site safety, including the use of PPE and adherence to safety guidelines.

• Conduct safety training sessions for the field team.

• Implement health and safety protocols to protect people and the environment.

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of compliance regulations and OSHA safety standards.

• Proficiency in safety procedures and training.

• Experience in health and safety management.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in the field and oversee site safety.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification.

• Experience in construction and environmental safety.

• Ability to work outdoors and in varying field conditions.

This role involves working outdoors in the field, which may vary in location. It is ideal for someone with experience in construction and environmental safety who enjoys working outside. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $43.26
